Second module of the China Links Core Program
Dates: May 7-11, 2012
Location: Shanghai, PRC
Fees: While it is strongly encouraged for participants to combine the Vancouver module with the Shanghai module as part of the China Links Core Program, participants were able to take this module on a stand-alone basis for $5,895 CDN (approximately 36,450 RMB).
This five-day workshop was held in collaboration with our local partners – the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS) and the China Executive Leadership Academy Pudong (CELAP). Participants received advanced instruction from both North American and Chinese instructors on important issues facing foreign businesses and government departments as they conducted their work in China today. Complementing the intensive four days of seminars, participants also took part in a full day of site visits to strategic locations around the Shanghai area, including a North American-owned wholly-owned foreign enterprise and a Chinese government agency. Site visits allowed participants to gain further perspective on how various issues covered during instruction were confronted on the ground by practitioners and business leaders.
